All those using our outpatient specialised care must first sign in at the desk located on the ground floor of the clinic. Here we record all your details into our computer system. For this we ask you to prepare your identity card, residence card, referral and your social security card. After we have taken down all your details, we ask our patients to go to the second floor using the elevators or the stairs and report at the desk. Here we can inform you where the sought doctor will see you. This is also where we notify the given surgery about your arrival via computer. From here on we ask that you wait patiently until you are called. If your referral only has our Institutions name on it and not the specific doctors name, then our specialist neurologist Dr. Ildikó Nagy will carry out the required tests on your first visit. If you have any questions regarding our outpatient care feel free to contact our senior assistant Szántó Emília.
We must identify all patients before any medical procedure (carried out by doctors or specialised staff), or if they are being transferred or transported to another department. It is the responsibility of the doctor performing the procedure and the nurse overseeing the transfer, as well as the transporting staff to identify the patient. The department nurse takes care of the replacement and rewriting of any ID bands that get damaged or become unreadable. The time and fact of the replacement will be recorded in the charts. Once the ID band has been attached, the patient can then proceed to the relevant department with the received charts and admission forms.
Both domestic and foreign uninsured patients are charged a fix price set by the Institute. The amount which is stipulated in our Payment Policy, needs to be paid on admission at the institutes payment desk. If any further payments during care are required, they need to be paid before the patients departure.
Admission department staff
All patients leaving the hospital receive a final report from their physician. The final report will contain descriptions of the hospital treatments, exams, follow up treatments and home care suggestions. The final report needs to be given to your GP within 24 hours, so that any potential medical treatment can continue smoothly at home, and the necessary medication can be prescribed. Any received hospital items must be handed over to the department nurse when leaving.
